WELCOMEThe name: I remember as a child going to the park. Every trip was filled with meeting new faces. Countless hours were spent talking to other kids on the playground and in the sandbox. While kids these days may not meet up in sandboxes, the name is meant to symbolize the exchange of ideas between a community of people who have yet to meet.
The hope is to create a network for teachers, parents, and all of the wonderful professionals who work with children with special needs. Content: Finding free content, that is of decent quality, has been one of my biggest struggles over the years. I mostly make my own teaching materials, as it allows me to customize for the individual needs of each of my kiddos. One of my goals for this website is to create free content and ideas accessible to all. |
